With this notice, we would like to inform every individual about the purposes, scope, protection, processing term and rights of the data subject when processing personal data.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Without processing of Your personal data it is impossible to collaborate and provide services to You! If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use or access any of the Services.

Terminology used

  • Controller: SIA ‘’SKIVII’’ ("we", "us", or "our") - email us at info@skivii.com.

  • Site: the site www.skivii.com you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from.

  • Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is a person who can be directly or indirectly identified on the basis of an identifier. For example, the identifier can be the name, surname, identification number of the identifiable person, identifier in information systems or one or more physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity factors specific to the said natural person;

  • Data subject (or You): a living natural person whose Personal Data is processed by the Controller to achieve a specific purpose; for example, the Data Subject is a Site visitor.

  • Processing of Personal Data: any actions with the Personal Data of the Data Subject, including, but not limited to, data collection, data storage, data transfer, data modification, data use and data deletion.

  • Purpose of data processing: the purpose intended to be achieved by the Controller when processing the Personal Data of the Data Subject.

  • Regulation: European General Data Protection Regulation no. 2016/679, applicable in all Member States from 25 May 2018.

Note: Hereafter we are using other terminology according to Regulation.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site, update the "Last updated" date and take any other steps required by applicable law.

How We Use Your Personal Information

  • Providing Products and Services. We use your personal information to provide you with the Services in order to perform our contract with you, including to process your payments, fulfill your orders, to send notifications to you related to your account, purchases, returns, exchanges or other transactions, to create, maintain and otherwise manage your account, to arrange for shipping, facilitate any returns and exchanges and to enable you to post reviews.

Information relating to data subject rights on each process and purpose of data processing

Information We Collect Directly from You: Information that you directly submit to us through our Services may include:

  • Basic contact details including your name, address, phone number, email

  • Order information including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment confirmation, email address, phone number.

  • Account information including your username, password, security questions.

  • Shopping information including the items you view, put in your cart or add to your wish list.

  • Customer support information including the information you choose to include in communications with us, for example, when sending a message through the Services.

Data recipients (to whom we disclosing Personal Data):

  • Controller's employees, in accordance with their duties arising from the employees' legal relationship with the Controller;

  • external service providers who are bound by a contractual relationship with the Controller, which determines the personal data protection procedure - it stipulates that the Personal Data of the Data Subject may be processed only in accordance with the instructions provided by the Controller and may not be used for other Data Processing purposes such as:

  • vendors or other third parties who perform services on our behalf (e.g., IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment and shipping). With business and marketing partners, to provide services and advertise to you. 

  • Our business and marketing partners will use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices.

  • state and local government institutions, including law enforcement institutions, ensuring the fulfillment of legal obligations in accordance with regulatory enactments and transferring Personal data upon relevant request; as well as in situations where the transfer of data is related to the Controller's legal interests, for example, to raise, implement or defend legal claims and in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with any applicable legal obligations (including to respond to subpoenas, search warrants and similar requests), to enforce any applicable terms of service, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.

  • in special cases, about which the Data Subject will be informed during the additional data collection or acquisition process, such as when you direct, request us or otherwise consent to our disclosure of certain information to third parties, such as to ship to you products or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations, with your consent or with our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group, in our legitimate interests to run a successful business.

Type of data processing

The Controller uses technical resources when processing Personal Data, however, in every situation where a decision has to be made in relation to the Data subject, it is always done by a person and the Controller does not make automated decisions within the meaning of the Regulation.


 Transfer of data to a third country (a country that is not a member of the European Union or the European Economic Area)

We transfer your personal information out of European Union to the United Kingdom relying on recognized transfer mechanisms - the data transfer is to a country that has been determined to provide an adequate level of protection according to Commission Implementing Decision 2021/1772 of 28 June 2021 on the adequate protection of personal data by the United Kingdom.


 The right to file a complaint

 In any situation where the Data Subject believes that the Controller has violated his rights when processing Personal Data, the Data Subject has the right to complain to the supervisory authority of his choice. For the controller operating in the territory of the Republic of Latvia, the leading supervisory authority is the Data State Inspectorate (Site address – www.dvi.gov.lv).

Special rights of Data subject

 In the cases specified in the regulation, you as a data subject have certain rights, the implementation of which is ensured by the Controller:

  • Access to personal data - You, as a Data Subject, have the right to request confirmation from us (hereafter "we" means "Controller") whether we are processing your Personal Data and, in cases where this is done, to request access to the processed Personal Data . To exercise the above rights, please submit a written submission;

  • Correction of personal data - If you believe that the information about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to correct your data. To exercise the above rights, please submit a written submission;

  • Withdrawal of consent – in cases where we process your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. To exercise the above rights, please submit a written application. Note that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the data processing that was carried out before the withdrawal of consent, as well as the data processing may have created the right to a legitimate interest or an obligation, based on the law, to continue processing your personal data; Note! Special warning about withdrawal of consent in situations where consent has been given to the processing of cookies - You, as a Data Subject, have the right to delete cookies from your device at any time; such action is tantamount to withdrawal of consent; The controller does not have the technical ability to delete cookies on your device!

  • Objection to processing based on legal interests - You have the right to object to the processing of personal data that we process based on our legal interests (legal basis for such processing of Personal data - in accordance with Article 6, Clause 1, subparagraph f) of the Regulation). To exercise the above rights, please submit a written submission; Note! We will continue to process your data even if you have objected to it, if we have compelling reasons to continue processing the data.

  • Data deletion - You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data, however, this does not apply to cases where the law requires us to keep the data. To exercise the above rights, please submit a written submission;

  • Restriction of processing – You have the right to request us to restrict the processing of your Personal Data. To exercise the above rights, please submit a written submission;

  • Data portability – You have the right to receive or transfer your personal data to another data controller (so-called “data portability”). This right only includes data that you have provided to us based on your consent or contract and where the processing is carried out by automated means. To exercise the above rights, please submit a written request to us. Note! In certain cases, one of your rights as a data subject may not be enforceable, however, in any situation, you will receive a motivated response from the Controller within the terms specified in the Regulation, which, depending on the situation, is one or three months from the moment of submission of the application.


Note! In order to ensure fair and transparent data processing, we invite the Data Subject to observe that:

  • In every case of providing Personal Data, the Data Subject is obliged to provide only valid and true personal data and only such data as are appropriate and necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes of data processing, for example, in accordance with the field values indicated above or the relevant request;

  • In the event that during cooperation or within a reasonable period of time thereafter, the relevant Data Subject's data changes, the Data Subject is obliged to inform the Controller about the changes in the relevant data categories;

The principles of Data processing

  • In our activities, we comply with the principles of data protection established by the Regulation, in particular the principle of accountability:

    • When collecting your personal data, we act as befits a decent and caring owner, and we process the data only for the purposes of achieving the specific purposes, without transferring the data to any other person, except if there is a situation established by law or established by contract, which is documented accordingly;

    • We regularly evaluate the collected and stored, as well as obtained and transferred Personal Data and make sure that the data categories and data storage are in accordance with the need to achieve the respective purposes;

    • We are focused on cooperation, therefore, upon receiving justified objections, proposals or other information from the Data Subject, we will make appropriate corrections in the processing of Personal Data, as well as in the binding documentation and other aspects related to the processing of Personal Data, for example, in the menus on the Site.


Data processing in special situations


  • Data processing related to questions, suggestions or complaints - The data subject, using the communication channels (e.g. e-mail) or contact form on the Site if it’s available, submits relevant information or asks a question to the Controller. When submitting data, the following conditions must be taken into account:

    • legal basis - our legitimate interest (in accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 1, subparagraph f) of the Regulation) to know your opinion in order to provide you with an answer or to be able to better adapt the Site, offers, communication, etc. to your wishes;

    • contact information (e.g. name, surname, e-mail, telephone) is necessary for us to be able to prepare an answer for you, as well as for you to be able to realize your data subject rights; the contact information provided by you will not be used for other purposes;

    • In general, we will provide an answer to your question no later than within one month.

Processing data for the purpose of ensuring economic activity – The Data Subject, as a client of the Controller transfers Personal Data, intends to conclude a contract, make, receive and fulfill orders for goods or services, submit and review suggestions, claims or complaints, ensure the delivery of goods, receive information, ask a question, communicate about the use of received services, etc. situations. Typically, data collection is carried out using Site, but in Controllers behalf it could be email or telephone as well. When transferring data for these purposes, the following criteria must be observed:

  • The legal basis for data processing is the fulfillment of contractual obligations or the data subject's desire to conclude such an agreement (for example, a contract for receiving a service, etc.) (including entering into actual contractual relations in which the Parties have agreed on the essential components of the transaction, namely, the service, its price, place and time of execution), as well as the Controller's legitimate interest in doing business, acting according to the situation:

    • in a situation where the Data Subject is a natural person, the processing of Personal Data is carried out to ensure the legitimate interests of the Controller (subparagraph f) of the first part of Article 6 of the Regulation) and for the conclusion and execution of a agreement (subparagraph b) of the first part of Article 6 of the Regulation);

    • in a situation in which the Data Subject is a representative of a legal entity, Personal Data processing is carried out to ensure the legitimate interests of the controller and the companies represented by the Data Subject (Subparagraph f) of the first part of Article 6 of the Regulation), that is, data processing is carried out in order to conclude a legal transaction as a result;

    • In order to achieve this data processing purpose, the following personal data is typically required from the Data Subject:

    • person's name, surname, contact information (address, phone number and e-mail) - these data will be used when communicating with the specific person, in connection with the provision of the relevant services, for example, essential nuances in the provision of the specific service, any changes, etc.;

    • ID, bank account and address - necessary for concluding a legal contract, as well as for issuing a correct invoice that meets accounting requirements, especially if the natural person has the status of a tax payer, as well as in specific cases specified in regulatory acts;

    • if the Data Subject is a representative or contact person of a legal entity, then additional information about the legal entity, name, registration number, VAT payer registration number, bank account and address is required, but no personal code is required;

    • likewise, to achieve this purpose, information about the product, service, delivery method, time and place, etc. is processed.

  • As a company engaged in commerce, we are bound by regulatory requirements relating to tax management and bookkeeping. Therefore, in accordance with Article 6, Clause 1, subparagraphs c) and e) of the Regulation, we process your Personal Data also for the purpose of fulfilling the requirements of regulatory acts.

Be taken into account!

  • To ensure the delivery or acceptance of the goods, etc. in similar cases, information may be transferred to third parties, including parties located in a third country!

  • To provide the Services, we collect personal information about you from a variety of sources, as set out below. The information that we collect and use varies depending on how you interact with us.

  • In addition to the specific uses set out below, we may use information we collect about you to communicate with you, provide the Services, comply with any applicable legal obligations, enforce any applicable terms of service, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.

  • Information We Obtain from Third Parties: we may obtain or obtain an information about you from third parties, including from vendors and service providers who may collect information on our behalf.

  • Any information we obtain from third parties will be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible or liable for the accuracy of the information provided to us by third parties and are not responsible for any third party's policies or practices

    • TikTok, Facebook and Instagram as a channel to expand our business and to gain recognition, please carefully read privacy information of these companies. 

    • Data examples, we may obtain or are obtaining about you from third parties:

    • Our payment processors, who collect payment information (e.g., bank account, credit or debit card information, billing address) to process your payment in order to fulfill your orders and provide you with products or services you have requested, in order to perform our contract with you.

    • When you visit our Site, open or click on emails we send you, or interact with our Services or advertisements, we, or third parties we work with, may automatically collect certain information using online tracking technologies such as pixels, web beacons, software developer kits, third-party libraries, and cookies.

    • All data related to the establishment and performance of contractual relations may be transferred to the Controller's auditors, insurers, credit institutions, consultants and other similar recipients, especially in situations where the contract is terminated or improperly performed.

  • Children’s Data: The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children.
